Hemsec was proud to once again support the Cold Chain Federation Summer Party 2026, joining members from across the UK cold chain industry for a day of networking, friendly (but fierce!) competition and collaboration at the iconic Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales.
A long-standing member of the Cold Chain Federation, Hemsec has been manufacturing insulated panel systems for cold storage and temperature-controlled environments for nearly 100 years. Cold Chain Federation’s annual Summer Party provides a valuable (and arguably rather exciting) opportunity to connect with customers, prospects, partners and industry colleagues – with a healthy dose of sporting competition thrown in – all whilst supporting a great cause.

Bringing the Cold Chain Together
This year the Cold Chain Federation Summer Party 2026 brought together businesses from across the UK temperature-controlled supply chain. Members took part in the Cold Chain Cup golf competition or the Cold Chain Games before coming together for an evening reception and dinner.
Alongside the friendly (but fierce!) competition, it was great for the Hemsec team to catch up with industry contacts, make new connections and continue conversations from across the UK cold chain.
Sponsoring the Cold Chain Cup
Hemsec was proud to sponsor the High Handicappers competition within this year’s Cold Chain Cup, continuing its support for one of the Federation’s most anticipated annual events.
The day also brought success for Hemsec’s Senior Business Development Manager, Jonty Coombes, who secured first place in the Low Handicappers competition. Congratulations to Jonty on a well-deserved win.
Supporting Transaid
The evening dinner included a charity raffle in support of Transaid, with prizes donated by Cold Chain Federation member companies, including Hemsec.
Founded by Save the Children, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and its Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, Transaid works with communities, governments and partners across sub-Saharan Africa to improve access to safe, available and sustainable transport. Hemsec was pleased to support this worthwhile cause alongside fellow members.
