Control 30 Panels
Hemsec Control 30 insulated panels are engineered for thin profile and cost-effective solutions, ideal for controlled environments.
These versatile panels offer excellent thermal insulation and fire performance at selected thicknesses, making them a perfect solution for ambient, chilled, and freezer areas, as well as cold storage and food preparation spaces.
Hemsec Control 30 panels are particularly suited for when temperature control and is critical.

Control 30 Insulated Panels
For general food production, Control 30 is an internal insulated panel with steel facings, and provides fire performance at selected thicknesses for additional assurance and thermal insulation.
- Ideal for ambient, chilled or freezer areas where non-intensive cleaning is required.
- Recommended for all temperature ranges between -40 to +50 °C.
- Long cover width of 1155mm helps reduce your panel quantity requirements.

Hemsec Control 30 panels are particularly suited for environments where both temperature control and safety are critical, such as in food processing, storage, and distribution facilities. Their lightweight construction makes them easy to handle, reducing installation time and costs, while their high-quality finish enhances the visual appeal of any space.
Their slim profile ensures maximum space efficiency while delivering high performance in temperature-controlled settings. For insulated solutions in controlled environments, Hemsec Control 30 Insulated Panels offer performance and cost-effectiveness. Selected thicknesses are independently assessed and approved under the LPCB LPS 1208 scheme, providing fire performance as an enhancement to the core thermal and structural properties of the system and offering additional assurance to your building.
Applications
These temperature-controlled insulated panel solutions are typically used within the food and drink industry, for applications such as:
Freezer Applications.
Chilled Storage & Warehousing.
Food Processing and Preparation.

The stated temperature difference may be increased to allow for negative temperature zones (i.e. Freezers) however this will affect the stated spans above, refer to the Freezer Applications table below for further guidance.
Max. Single ceiling spans are based on 0.9kN point load at mid-span and 0.25kN/m2 UDL (Hemsec strongly recommend referring to our Ceiling Care document for greater detail). Minimum bearing/support of 50mm at panel ends. Consult Hemsec for further information on permitted bearing loads and edge supports.
Panels are manufactured to bespoke lengths starting at the stated minimums above; maximum lengths stated may be increased upon referral to Hemsec up to a manufacturing capability limit of 15m**
** Hemsec should be consulted on any panel lengths greater than the maximum stated in the above table due to the difficulties faced when handling and on installation. Spans greater than 12.50m(Walls) / 8.80m(Ceilings) typically captured within the Control 60 product ranges.
*** Calculated using the method required by the Building Regulations Part L2 (England & Wales) and Building Standards Part J (Scotland).
Thermal transmittance based on λ mean = 0.02038 W/Mk.
