As a long-time supporter, Hemsec was proud to sponsor the Cold Chain Federation Summer Party 2025 – a great event, a day spent connecting with industry colleagues from across the cold chain. Held at the beautiful Celtic Manor Resort in Monmouthshire, the event brought together more than 200 professionals for a day full of connection, fun, and purpose.
A Great Day On and Off the Course
The day kicked off with the Cold Chain Cup golf competition on the Montgomerie Course. There was plenty of friendly competition, and plenty of laughs too – especially when our own Tim Kay proudly accepted the wooden spoon!
In the evening, everyone came together for a drinks reception and three-course dinner. It was the perfect way to wind down and spend time with friends old and new.
Supporting a Great Cause
One of the highlights of the evening was the charity raffle in support of Transaid, a brilliant organisation working to improve transport, road safety and access to healthcare in sub-Saharan Africa.
We were really pleased to donate prizes to the raffle, which helped raise £1,600. That money will go towards training drivers, delivering bike ambulances, and supporting essential healthcare access in remote areas.
Connecting the Sector
Events like this show the value of coming together as a sector- not just to network, but to share ideas and support good causes. The Cold Chain Federation continues to create spaces that encourage collaboration and a stronger industry overall.
