December 2013

Christmas Shutdown

HPT would like to inform our customers that the factory will be closed for the Christmas and New Year period from 6pm Friday 20th December 2013 and will re-open on Monday 6th January 2014.

The offices will be closed from 3pm Friday 20th December 2013 and will re-open on Thursday 2nd January 2014.
There will be no loading facilities after 2pm on Friday 20th December 2013.

During this period there will, unfortunately, be no panel manufacture or loading facilities.
If you require deliveries before or immediately after the shutdown it would be advisable to place your orders as early as possible.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the business that we have received this year to date. We hope that we can all participate in an enjoyable Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

November 2013

Movember at HPT

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches around the world. With their “Mo’s” men raise vital funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health.

*UPDATE*
After a successful month of hair growth, HPT managed to gain team donations of £775 in November. We are very greatful for your support and are extremely happy that we could contribute so much to some very worthwhile causes through Movember.

If anyone would like to contribute further to the team, donations can be accepted up to December 9th.

JBJ Insulations

During August, JBJ Insulations commenced work with a major pharmaceutical company based in the midlands area, on an approximate build size of 3000 SqM.

Recent reports have been very positive from site, with the HPT PIR panel gaining rave reviews with their ease of installation and panel aesthetics. The client seemingly very happy with the build thus far.

Davies Haulage

Davies Haulage, have recently been awarded a long term project at a logistics Company in Crewe, culminating of a scheme of works that should take them through into 2014 and beyond.

A combination of both internal and external PIR panel systems have been used, thus enjoying the benefits of the HPT panel ranges.

Roseground

Cleanroom installation company Roseground, based in Bedfordshire, have recently completed a project for a major ‘blue chip’ pharmaceutical company based here in the UK.

The build as a whole was approx. 1200 SqM and made use of TATA internal polyester coated PIR panels throughout its varying rooms.

Intertech Process Machinery

In view of a large scheme chicken processing plant in Stoke, Intertech Process Machinery of Gloucestershire tackled a complete new build from the ‘ground-up’ as it were, thus providing insulated temperature controlled environments and hygienic food production areas.

Managing Director, Matthew Preace whom project managed the scheme throughout, complimented the HPT panel for its ease of use, excellent joint and panel finish. Which is of course very important in an environment such as this, due to hygiene standards and intense wash down procedures.

An overall excellent result, paving the way for future such works.

Mcavoy Group

HPT are extremely pleased to be working with the Mcavoy Group. Earlier this year the Group was named as the preferred bidder under the Framework Agreement for the Education Funding Agency (EFA). Since then, the Northern-Ireland based, off-site construction specialists, have been awarded nine prestigious contracts with a combined value of Ł26M.

The projects include a school for children with Autism, a number of new secondary schools, a new primary School and a new sixth form centre in various locations across England. McAvoy has been awarded the contract to design, manufacture and build the new schools.

HPT External panels in 50mm thick are utilised as the external fabric/envelope on many of the schools and were recognised for their extremely fast buildability on demanding ‘off site’ build programmes at Mcavoy’s factory in Dungannon. The panels generally have a finish of varying colours in Ta Ta Colorcoat LG, to suit local authority requirements and are backed up by Ta Ta steels 25 year warranty.

Great Foods - Milton Keynes

Following on from the success of a new build for Morrisons, Thrapston - Taylor Rose where awarded the Great Foods project in Milton Keynes. This project growing week by week as the programme rolled out to around circa 6000SqM with the possibility of more areas to follow – has a completion date aimed at end of August early September 2013.

During a recent meeting with a Taylor Rose Project Manager, very positive remarks were made in view of the HPT panel, it’s flatness, the panel joint and it’s strength were certainly a talking point: "a pleasure to work with thus creating an excellent looking build".

Mumtasz Foods - Bradford

Overcoming stiff competition from a number of other large scale installer outifts, HBCL came out on top and landed a new build project, approx. 4500 SqM for Mumtasz Foods, Bradford.

Craig Lovett of HBCL whom works out of the Bradford area was very pleased to win the job and to have secured it with a Yorkshire based company. A very prestigious job for a fast growing quality food manufacturer and supplier, this is a project that will sit on HBCL’s resume for a long time to come.

Reed Boardall

Reed Boardall is one of the largest temperature controlled food distribution businesses in the UK.

HIL installations based in Merseyside have been asked to provide extension works to this site in Boroughbridge for Marshall Construction utilising approx. 800m2 of 150mm HPT Control 30 with a Ta Ta PVC foodsafe steel.
