Purity Brewing Company - Alcester

S A Mogg Ltd are a specialist supplier and erector of steel frame buildings for agricultural and industrial use. They were principle turnkey envelope & structural steelwork contactor on this project, their brief also encompassing the internal fit out.

Following a recommendation made by Steadman’s (external cladding panel supplier), Dean James - Project Manager at S A Mogg made an approach to HPT for the supply of approx. 650m2 of HPT Control 30 panels, being selected for their renowned smooth surface characteristics.

Dean commented during dialogue at the project scheduling stage: "That truly is excellent service, thank you for all your help. It makes a refreshing change to deal with a pro in this country."

November 2012

Fayrefield Foods

JBJ Insulations, specialist panel installer to the food industry and based in Merseyside have worked with Fayrefield Foods from Crewe (part of an international organisation producing & marketing, in the main, dairy products) in excess of ten years and they were asked to build a major new cheese processing works, chiefly in HPT Control 30 in 125mm thick and totalling almost 10,000m2.

October 2012

Dewied

Dewied in Shirerook whose headquarters are in Texas in San Antonio, are major manufacturers of sausage casings. The company needed to expand rapidly in a growing market place and tasked their own installation team to build this job.

The project (around 2500m2) required a smooth finish to the panel faces, giving an enhanced hygienic surface. HPT Control 30 in 125mm thick to the ceiling areas and 100mm to the walls were utilised on this build.

The end result was impressive and HPT are rightly proud of our smooth surface finish, which we believe for an injected/wet lay down panel manufacturing process, remains the best in the industry.

September 2012

Eurofresh

Bristol based company Stancold were tasked by main contractor A&H Construction with building new ‘packing halls’ for Eurofresh (based in the Vale of Evesham), who produce and package a wide range of salads, fruit and vegetables among other foodstuffs.

The job utilised HPT Control panels in 80mm and HPT Control 30 in 100mm thick. We were asked to provide cost effective food safe polyester to the project with a profiled finish (our 100 rib).

The pack houses and halls totalled some 2300m2 overall and all involved in the build remain delighted with the completed project.

August 2012

Dr. Oetker - Preston

HBCL Coldstores from Bradford have worked on this major site in Lancashire for a number of previous projects and were once again asked to work on the new freezer storage areas. Totalling around 1000m2 overall, with a mix of 150mm and 175mm thick HPT Control 30 and Control 60 using white foodsafe for its durability.

The thickness utilised, coupled with the proven ‘snug’ fit between male and female panel joints, gave confidence to the end user in respect to the products long term thermal performance and no risk to ‘cold bridging’ at the interface.

TF Bowman & Sons.

Pete Bowman of Bowman chilled stores, based in Spalding, has embarked on a major new freezer and chill storage areas. The project is around circa 23,000m2, the complete project being produced in HPT Control 60 all in 200mm thick. HPT are delighted to have been awarded this major project.

June 2012

Dovecote Park Pontefract.

A major beef supplier, building a new processing factory utilising HPT Control in 100mm & 125mm. Insuline based in Grimsby for many many years carried out the installation here, which was well in excess of 4000m2. Steve Burke at Insuline recognised the fact that the HPT Control panel utilises Ta Ta Advantica L Control (white PVC fooodsafe steel) Steve commented: 'Ta Ta formerly Corus have been producing white foodsafe steel for decades under the brand of 'Stelvatite' Essentially Advantica is the same well proven product as 'Stelv' (re-branded) and gives confidence to end users. It is a very robust coating, which also has a very small carbon footprint, given it is manufactured within the UK'

Despite the UK economic gloom during much of quarter two, of which HPT has also seen a dip in orders, we were however delighted that Jaguar / Landrover Castle Donnington who continue to expand in the UK looked to Lawfield Contracts who were asked to provide a 'compartment wall' to divide production areas. Installed on the top of a 4m blockwork wall. The panel length being 9m at the eaves to 15m at the apex. Approx. 2000m2 of 175mm HPT Internal 60 were utilised, finished in Ta Ta polyester to both sides. The obvious synergy here being in that Jaguar Landrover are under the Ta Ta brand.

Titan Tyres Factory Haydock.

The end user required a fire rated ceiling to be applied to steelwork above their offices. The risk being extremely great given the stock type held in the warehouse. MH interiors after consulting both the architect & HPT decided to utilise the 125mm HPT Carrier panel, giving 60 mins of fire rating on integrity.

Further investment in our new lab, originally built in June 2011.

The new lab is based here on site at Rainhill. Chief usage is the quality assessment of our products and materials. New equipment recently installed.

Feb 2012

Wights Salads Runcton.

Waterside Ltd awarded the extension works to a major & key supplier of tomatoes in the south west. Approx. 2000m2 of 175mm HPT External in Ta Ta HP200 LG, with a 'Juniper Green' finish.

Seafood Village Grimsby

Continuing vote of confidence in the HPT control 30 as Panelfab continue the placement of work for this new site. One of the largest 'fish processing wholesale units' built on the east coast for a number of years.
